Information is one the major factors to determine how much someone will pay for a product or service.

Information is composed of two elements:

  1. Packaging
  2. Full story

Packaging

Packaging is how your present your information and what it says about your business, product or service.

A great example is the story Sean D’Souza introduced me about Joshue Bell in his Dartboard Pricing book 202110301743.

Packaging consists of many factors, but includes personality, fonts, colours, demonstrations, and personal narrative or your ficitional character 202103261244.

To begin creating packaging for a business, product or service, choose ONE word ot build all packaging around, e.g. personal or reliable.

Full story

People in the market for a car don’t say “let’s just buy any car.” Instead, they base the decision on information like how many seats it has, how fast it goes, how economical it is, and what other people say about the car.

If you tried to sell a car without providing this information you would be unsuccessful. The same is true with any product or service. People will pay more for a product or service if they get all the information they need. In fact, they will pay more for the exact same product/service if one seller provides the full information, because it’s too risky to buy from the other seller in case it doesn’t include XYZ. And they don’t know whether it does because the seller didn’t tell them.

So tell the full story.

Give all specific (relevant) details for every product/service you sell and every action you ask your customers to take.
