Today I realised that flowsheets are the backbone of clinical documentation in Epic.
They’re not sexy.
But they’re used constantly - by pretty much everyone involved in inpatient care - to record critical data like vitals and fluid balance.
Which means every configuration decision carries real consequences for how clinicians document, communicate, and deliver care.
