Fortune changes hands in times of crisis.

I wrote this quote down a few years ago when I read it in No B.S. Sales Success by Dan S. Kennedy. Now that I’m writing it here, I can’t find a verifiable source, so I’ll back it up with two other quotes that capture similar ideas.
Only a crisis - actually or perceived - produces real change.
Milton Friedman
And…
Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.
- Warren Buffett
In Psycho-Cybernetics, Maxwell Maltz describes a crisis as “a situation that can either make or break you”.
Maltz, and the quotes above, suggest that a crisis can be good or bad. It’s a fork in the road. You get to choose which path to take.
