Here’s my interpretation of how these things relate to each other…

Mission is the long-term purpose and continuous responsbility of a person’s life or business, or a particular component of one’s life or business.

A goal is a vision of a specific result you want to achieve which helps you achieve a mission.

Reality is where you are right now in relation to a goal.

An objective is a landmark or milestone result on the way to the goal.

Strategy is the overall approach to move from current reality to the goal - including how the different parts of the approach relate to each other.

An action or activity is a single step you take to get from A to B.

A process is a series of actions taken to get from A to B.

A system is a group of interrelated processes working together to reach the goal.

A plan describes the action steps, processes, systems, strategies and objectives you decide will build to move from current reality towards a goal.
