Title - Mystery in personal narrative Tags - influentialwritingfascination

Aim to get people as fascinated with your character as they are with fictional character’s like Harry Potter.

To achieve this, disclose your behaviour, thoughts, and process; why you do what you do; how you do what you do; what makes you tick; where you come from.

Just as important is that you also WITHOLD some of this information to produce secrecy and mystery. This leaves people want to know more.

A good example is how Dan Kennedy makes known that he doesn’t own a mobile phone, doesn’t have WIFI at home, and doesn’t use email.

It’s fascinating because it’s so radical. Dan answers your question about WHY he does this, but he doesn’t explain HOW he does this - except in paid products, and even then he holds back.

In my case, I was fascinated by this, in one respect, because I wanted to know how to work without technology as well, but I didn’t have all the details on how to do this, so I kept on seeking them - reading more books, newsletters, courses, etc.
