Hi Maria,
I’m so sorry it’s taken me such a long time to reply to you, have been meaning to for ages!
I just wanted to let you know that our beautiful daughter Camille was born in the early hours of 17/02/2021.
She was a very healthy 10lbs 4oz (so on this occasion they were right from the scan that she was on the bigger size) but I was able to deliver her naturally with gas and air. She came very fast for a first baby, and coupled with her size I had a third degree tear but everything healed just fine.
I wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me (and for our scans too). It was so helpful and gave me information that I could then balance against and add to other advice I’d been given, to make my own decision that was right for us.
Clearly everyone has to make their own choices, but I felt my body could deliver our daughter that it had grown, even on the bigger side.
As you know they had wanted to induce me right on 40 weeks, which I chose against and then went into labour naturally the following day, so it all worked out so well.
I appreciate this is not the case for everyone but just wanted to thank you again for your time and information. It was so helpful and really kind.

Camille is such a joy - 3 months old already it’s flying by! We are enjoying all the amazing cuddles and smiles.
