  • Without a meal plan, we’re all over the place
  • Expensive: more takeaways, more waste, more expensive
  • Unhealthy: more takeaways/fast food, less healthy
  • Routine: eat at different times, weight gain, other health problems
  • Energy: have to think about what to cook every time, stressful, energy wasted
  • Time: more trips to supermarket/shop, more time deciding what to buy
  • Self-image: you know negative outcomes, do it anyway, beats up self-image
  • NO CONTROL
  • Introduce system
  • Same meals every week
  • Faster to cook
  • Less time to organise meals
  • Less time shopping
  • Eat at same time every day

  • We weren’t a fan of two meals
  • We kept them in the system, but weren’t motivated to cook them, so reverted to old habits of buying a takeaway instead
