- Agrees to pool on condition that son waashes it after school every day
- Dad returns home; mom says son hasn’t been near the pool all week
- Dad grabs son by scruff of the neck, throws him in the pool, throws the pool clean in after him, and tells him to clean the pool
- Son cleans the pool while dad is watching, but when his back is turned, he pissed in the pool
Point:
They (clients, customers, employees) will piss in your pool unless your handle getting them to do something in the right way.
The outcome of the story would have been different if thee dad had jumped into the pool with his son and shown him how to clean the pool.
