When you are establishing yourself as an influencer with an audience, they need to be able to pidgeon-hole you. They need to have one box they can put you in so it’s really clear what you are and what you stand for - your “point of view”.
The best primary point of view for a new influencer is “Radical with system / approach.” In other words, you make youself known as someone who teaches a radical approach to whatever you do.
The best secondary position for an influencer might be specialist/expert. That’s what Dan Kennedy’s is, and that’s where most of the money comes from. In other words, you make yourself known for your “one thing”. Dan would be direct marketing.
As your relationship with your audience deepends, begin to adopt different positions to keep things interesting, especially on the backend for connection, loyalty, retention, ascension.
