The owner went to all of the prominent people in the community (businesspeople, etc.) and said “we’re new, we’re good, and we know that if we’re going to be successful we need support and referrals from influential people in the community. We want to invite you and your family for a free haricut. If it’s the best haircut you’ve ever had, we want you to tell people about it.
