If you have baggage that you’re not qualified or “worth it” as a consultant/copywriter, it can cause you to be timid, compromise in negotiation, seek credentials from other and seek permission to get moving. Instead:

  • Specialise so it’s easier to amass sufficient expertise
  • Remember that the one-eyed man is king!
  • Narrowly define what “qualified” is in each instance
  • Link “qualfied to “ability to perform”
  • Get qualified!
  • Get adept at finding certain wins for client and self
  • Develop an understanding of ROI and asset value (thus, the value of your work and the outcomes of it)
