The most dangerous negotiation you’ll ever be in is the one you don’t know you’re in because you can’t see it.

For example, the toilet is a great place to negotiate because people relax, let their guard down, and have no idea that they’re in a negotiation.

If you ask people a question in the toilet, they will smile and answer you. It’s a great place to do research and negotiate.

Obviously, the reverse is also true. If you’re the one with your guard down and don’t realise you’re in a negotiation, your adversary can gain an advantage.
